Mime game

Gestures and movements to express thoughts? This is a form of human communication called mimics that can help children express their thoughts and feelings.

All you need to play this game is piece of paper, pen or pencil and a bag. The game can be played in groups or by two people. Cut the piece of paper into smaller pieces and write a name in each one. Use different subjects like movie names, cartoon characters, animals or something else you like and place all the written papers in the bag.

A person from each group then grabs a paper from the bag and tries to make his team members guess the message by making gestures. The team members can ask questions, but the mime can’t speak or make any sound, he can only make gestures to help his colleagues guess the name that is written on the paper.

When the team members guess the name, the team scores one point. The team with the most points wins the challenge.

The mime game is great to develop communication skills and when played in a group it also helps promote collaboration and team spirit.
