The finest goose games used to use ivory dice, but in line with the ecological spirit which Cayro tries to convey through the games they manufacture, only recycled materials were used and the wood used to make components of this game came from reforestation projects.

ABOUT THE GOOSE GAME
The first mention of the Goose Game was made by historians chronicling the visit of the Florentine Francesco de Medicis to Spain, on which occasion he presented a version of the game as a gift to the Spanish Monarch, King Felipe II. The game very quickly became extremely popular.
At the end of that same century, the English referred to it as the "new and very amusing Goose Game", and it soon became a favorite pastime of diligent children.
The goose has been regarded since ancient times as an emblematic creature with a benign nature which accompanied poor souls on their journey to hell, for which reason the Goose Game, ever since its origins, has had a strong philosophical element. As time passed by, the game gradually became trivialized until it became the Goose Game that we know today.
